MSHS
SUMMER SERIES UPDATE
6.6.17

Greetings friends!

We have several updates and changes for the Summer Series that I would like everyone to be aware of.  Here is a brief summary of what has changed:

  • We have some officials that have changed for the series.
  • We have some minor schedule changes for all weeks.
  • Our “Do Over” Classes in the Jumper ring have changed formats and names, but we still have them! (Warm Up rounds are available too!)
  • The specs of several classes have been updated to become more compatible with the several affiliate organizations that recognize our shows (MHJA, INHJA, and WHJA).

CHANGES IN OFFICIALS:

June 13-17, 2017 – Summer:

  • Jenny Paisley from Albuquerque, NM will be joining us to officiate Hunters, Hunter Breeding, and Equitation.

June 19-21, 2017 – Encore:

  • Tommy McIntyre from the Chicago area will be joining us to Course Design for the Encore show.

SCHEDULE CHANGES:

  • The pony hunter divisions will be moved to first thing on the schedule on Saturday of Summerfest (June 10) and Friday of Summer (June 16).
  • The Young Jumpers have been moved to Saturday of Summerfest (June 10) and Friday of Summer (June 16).

DO OVER CLASSES:

We still have “Do Over” Jumper classes!  The USEF has changed the regulations of hors concours classes, and therefore we have had to change the format in which our “Do Over” classes are operated.  We have offered a Blue Ribbon class corresponding with each height in the jumper schedule.  If you still would like to do a “Do Over” round, please let the in gate personnel know!  As always, “Do Over” classes will be allowed on a time permitting basis.  We also still have our Warm Up Jumper classes available!

CHANGE IN SPECIFICATIONS:

The following divisions have had changes made in their specifications:

  • Modified Limit Equitation.
  • Modified Equitation.
  • Modified &/or Limit &/or Pre-Children’s Hunter.
  • Modified &/or Limit &/or Pre-Adult Hunter.
  • Low Amateur / Junior Hunter.

! ! ! PLEASE CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE DETAILED LIST OF SPECIFICATIONS CHANGES ! ! !

We at Mid States are VERY EXCITED for the next few weeks!  We’re glad you all could join us!  Good luck to all our exhibitors!

Mid States Spring Show Cancelled

i May 4th No Comments by

MidstatesLogo.legs.up 2

Greetings friends of Mid States,

I regret to inform you that we must cancel the show scheduled for this next week at the North Iowa Events Center in Mason City, IA. We looked at the scenario from many angles, and tried to come up with some ideas that would enable us to run the show with the light numbers, but ultimately the expense was too great.

We will still be hosting our SUMMER SERIES in Mason City and hope to see all of you there!!

Additionally, we are looking into the options of rescheduling the event for later in the season.

Please feel free to reach out to Dan with any further questions: 619-820-3802.

See you in June!

Dan
